John Wooten

John Wooten is a hard working professional SAG actor who has appeared in over 25 feature films, television and commercial projects and resides in the Philadelphia region. John is also a member of AFTRA and has served as Council Member for two years and is the current President of the SAG Philadelphia Regional Branch.

In 2009, John supported the rally for PA Film Tax Credit incentives attending a hearing, Philadelphia Movie Tour, and set visit to M. Night Shyamalan’s “Last Airbender” with the Greater Philadelphia Film Office and PA state legislators sharing his own personal testimony.

John was awarded the 2009 Otis Morse Scholarship Award on behalf of the Philadelphia Cultural Alliance allowing him to travel to Washington, DC for the National Arts Action Summit (sponsored by Americans for the Arts), making the case for the Arts on Capitol Hill with Philadelphia area legislators.

John has served as Executive Director for CFACE, a non-profit Fine Arts organization, offering formal instruction in the arts to community residents for youth, adults and seniors.  A Temple Universtiy graduate, he earned his B.A. before graduating from University of Phoenix earning his M.S.
